These architectural and geometric surface pattern designs are largely influenced through visits to London and daily life in Nottingham, which aspire to embody city life. Colour is all important and has played a large part in these designs which have been created for the contemporary home. The designs aim to capture the imagination and intrigue, they are not made to match up, but exist together effortlessly like many of the mulit-story buildings that are making such an impression on our city centres. Each design is unique, maintaining an individuality and identity of its own.

The starting point for these designs began on the street through looking at and observing buildings. Drawing and photography from these visits was an important part of the development, which formed the basis of these pattern designs. These designs have a particular emphasis on quality and touch achieved through traditional screen-printing and modern digital printing techniques.
